Appelé château, Le Lonzat s'apparente plutôt au domaine noble que l'on rencontre parfois en bourbonnais, où une demeure campagnarde constitue le centre d'une petite entité économique et agricole. History
Called a château, Le Lonzat is rather more akin to the noble estate which one sometimes encounters in Bourbonnais, where a rural dwelling constitutes the centre of a small economic and agricultural entity. As at the châteaux of Creux or Pomay, Le Lonzat integrates farmbuildings and outbuildings into a classical composition where functions are hierarchised, and which enhance the dwelling of the masters, placed at the centre of the arrangement.
