History
The castle, whose earliest mentions date back to the 11th century, is a construction of the 14th and 15th centuries, with the exception of the keep raised in the late 11th and 12th centuries. The castle is a fortified ensemble situated on a slight eminence. The enclosure, of trapezoidal plan, was protected by an artificial ditch of circular plan.
