Maison construite de 1924 à 1925 par les architectes Auguste et Gustave Perret pour le dessinateur-affichiste Jean-Marie Mouron, dit Cassandre. Réalisée en béton armé et comportant un grand atelier donnant sur le jardin en rez-de-chaussée, elle est située dans un quartier résidentiel du 19e siècle, à proximité de la gare rive-droite et de la villa Bomsel d'André Lurçat (voir notice PA0008776). Après la dernière guerre, la maison devient la propriété d'un exploitant de salles de cinéma qui fait appel à Auguste Perret pour installer une cabine de projection et un écran.

History
House built from 1924 to 1925 by architects Auguste and Gustave Perret for the poster artist and draughtsman Jean-Marie Mouron, known as Cassandre. Built in reinforced concrete and featuring a large studio overlooking the garden on the ground floor, it is located in a 19th-century residential neighbourhood, near the right-bank station and the villa Bomsel by André Lurçat (see notice PA0008776). After the last war, the house became the property of a cinema owner who called upon Auguste Perret to install a projection booth and a screen.
