Les origines du château remontent au 15e siècle (édifice reconstruit en 1421 et fortifié en 1442) , fortement modifié aux 17e et 19e siècle. La cuisine contient une cheminée du 15e siècle. La partie Est a été rajoutée au 19e siècle. Un décor de papiers peints ayant pour thème l'histoire de Don Quichotte est daté des années 1840. Le château présente un plan rectangulaire allongé adossé à la tour rectangulaire abritant l'escalier en vis. A l'ouest, donjon quadrangulaire aux angles arrondis, relié à la tour par une construction intermédiaire où se trouve, au premier étage, le décor de papiers peints. Cuisine avec cheminée monumentale et four-potager. Le poête Charles de Pomairols y passa son enfance.

History
The origins of the castle go back to the 15th century (building rebuilt in 1421 and fortified in 1442), strongly modified in the 17th and 19th centuries. The kitchen contains a chimney of the 15th century. The East part was added in the 19th century. A decoration of wallpaper with the theme of the history of Don Quixote is dated to the 1840s. The castle presents an elongated rectangular plan leaning against the rectangular tower housing the spiral staircase. To the west, square keep with rounded corners, linked to the tower by an intermediate building where is found, on the first floor, the wallpaper decoration. Kitchen with monumental fireplace and stove-potager. The poet Charles de Pomairols spent his childhood there.
