Construite entre le 9e et le 10e siècle, l'église présente l'un des rares exemples encore conservés dans le Rouergue d'édifice à structure pré-romane dite à "angles arrondis", dont la caractéristique réside dans le raccordement en quart de cercle des façades extérieures de la nef et du sanctuaire. Au 15e siècle, ajout d'une chapelle au nord. A l'intérieur, peintures murales du début du 11e siècle illustrant sans doute la seconde apparition du Christ selon l'Apocalypse, entre les quatre animaux et les vingt-quatre vieillards. Ce décor est à rapprocher de la peinture catalane du 11e siècle.

History
Built between the 9th and 10th centuries, the church presents one of the rare examples still preserved in Rouergue of a building with pre-Romanesque structure said to have "rounded angles", whose characteristic resides in the quarter-circle junction of the exterior facades of the nave and the sanctuary. In the 15th century, addition of a chapel to the north. Inside, wall paintings from the early 11th century illustrating no doubt the second appearance of Christ according to the Apocalypse, between the four animals and the twenty-four elders. This decoration is to be related to Catalan painting of the 11th century.
