Architecture néo-classique, témoin de l'architecture hospitalière de l'Ancien Régime. L'hospice existait depuis le 12e siècle, sans pouvoir affirmer qu'il se situait sur le même emplacement. La chapelle se situe à gauche des bâtiments de l'hospice, dans leur alignement. L'hôpital présente aujourd'hui un plan régulier où la chapelle en croix latine est située au centre, séparant l'aile des hommes de celle des femmes, tous deux pouvant accéder directement depuis les chambres aux tribunes situées sur les chapelles du transept. La chapelle se compose d'une nef unique avec transept et choeur plat. L'étage est occupé par deux tribunes situées au-dessus des bras du transept et communiquant entre elles. Deux chapelles latérales furent ouvertes avec des arcades cintrées. Une tribune a été ajoutée au-dessus de la porte d'entrée. Certains écrits mentionnent un agrandissement de la chapelle en 1821. La nef est rythmée de pilastres et le choeur de colonnes ioniques en faux marbre. En façade, la travée centrale est encadrée par deux pilastres doriques et l'ensemble est couronné par un fronton.

History
Neo-classical architecture, testimony to Old Regime hospital architecture. The hospice had existed since the 12th century, without being able to confirm that it was located on the same site. The chapel is situated to the left of the hospice buildings, in line with them. The hospital today presents a regular plan where the chapel in Latin cross form is located at the centre, separating the men's wing from the women's wing, both being able to access directly from the bedrooms to the galleries situated on the chapels of the transept. The chapel is composed of a single nave with transept and flat choir. The upper floor is occupied by two galleries situated above the arms of the transept and communicating with each other. Two side chapels were opened with round arches. A gallery was added above the entrance door. Certain writings mention an enlargement of the chapel in 1821. The nave is rhythmicized by pilasters and the choir by Ionic columns in false marble. On the façade, the central bay is framed by two Doric pilasters and the whole is crowned by a pediment.
