Belle demeure du 18e siècle, construite entre cour et jardin. Plans et devis mentionnés en 1750 (attribués à François Tureau, l'architecte de la ville du Vigan) , comptes arrêtés avec l'entrepreneur Thureau en 1759. L'hôtel possède une distribution et un décor intérieurs de grande qualité (cage d'escalier, alcôves, gypseries, cheminées et menuiseries). Vendu comme bien national pendant la Révolution, il a servi de prison, de mairie, ... avant d'être racheté par les Assas Faventines en 1850.

History
Fine 18th-century mansion, built between courtyard and garden. Plans and specifications mentioned in 1750 (attributed to François Tureau, the architect of the town of Le Vigan), accounts settled with contractor Thureau in 1759. The mansion possesses an interior layout and decoration of high quality (staircase cage, alcoves, plasterwork, chimneys and joinery). Sold as national property during the Revolution, it served as a prison, town hall, ... before being repurchased by the Assas Faventines in 1850.
