Hôtel de luxe construit à partir de 1906 par l'architecte genevois Alfred Olivet pour l'hôtelier Antoine Rossignoli, déjà propriétaire de l'hôtel Splendid avoisinant, construit en 1884. Transformé en résidence ("Beauregard") en 1960, l'ancien Excelsior conserve certains de ses décors d'époque, notamment celui de son hall ainsi que des ferronneries et des vitraux de style Art Nouveau.

History
Luxury hotel built from 1906 by Genevan architect Alfred Olivet for hotelier Antoine Rossignoli, already owner of the neighbouring Splendid hotel, built in 1884. Transformed into a residence ("Beauregard") in 1960, the former Excelsior retains some of its period decors, notably that of its hall as well as Art Nouveau ironwork and stained glass.
