Hôtel édifié en 1882 d'après les plans d'Antoine Gouy, architecte genevois, basés sur la représentation d'un chalet de type suisse. Les travaux ont été exécutés en trois mois. Un bâtiment de style italien, annexe au chalet, destiné à abriter une salle à manger d'été et un cabinet de travail, est édifié en 1896 par Léon Grosse à partir des plans établis par Jean Chevalley. Les décors intérieurs proviennent d'Italie. Le Commandant Charcot et sa famille y résident.

History
Hotel built in 1882 according to plans by Antoine Gouy, Genevan architect, based on the representation of a chalet of Swiss type. The works were executed in three months. A building of Italian style, annex to the chalet, intended to house a summer dining room and a study, is built in 1896 by Léon Grosse from plans established by Jean Chevalley.
