Louis Sevin, prêtre, avait désiré ériger une chapelle en l'honneur de la Vierge de l'Incarnation. Elle est bâtie sur le modèle de la Sancta Casa. Pour évoquer la Maison de Nazareth, elle devait reproduire dans son plan, ses matériaux, sa décoration, la Sancta Casa, la basilique italienne de Lorette, et de rappeler la grotte creusée dans le rocher. Construite sur plan rectangulaire, elle présente une façade sur rue en hémicycle avec un chevet plat et deux portails ornés de pilastres et de vases. Le chevet supporte, au centre du pignon, la statue de la Vierge Mère. Le comble est surmonté d'un lanternon octogonal vitré. Une croix surmonte l'ensemble. L'intérieur reproduit celui de la Sancta Casa. Face à l'entrée se trouve la porte de la sacristie, à l'endroit du passage qui, à Nazareth, conduisait à la grotte. Reliée à la chapelle par un passage, elle constitue un petit bâtiment octogonal indépendant, fait de moellons sans revêtement. Dans le passage a été encastrée la pierre tombale du fondateur.

History
Louis Sevin, priest, had desired to erect a chapel in honour of the Virgin of the Incarnation. It is built on the model of the Sancta Casa. To evoke the House of Nazareth, it was meant to reproduce in its plan, its materials, its decoration, the Sancta Casa, the Italian basilica of Lorette, and to recall the grotto hollowed out in the rock. Built on a rectangular plan, it presents a façade facing the street in a hemicycle with a flat chevet and two portals decorated with pilasters and urns. The chevet supports, at the centre of the gable, the statue of the Virgin Mother. The roof space is surmounted by an octagonal glazed lantern. A cross surmounts the whole. The interior reproduces that of the Sancta Casa. Facing the entrance is the door of the sacristy, at the place of the passage which, at Nazareth, led to the grotto. Connected to the chapel by a passage, it constitutes a small independent octagonal building, made of rubble stone without render. In the passage was set the tombstone of the founder.
