La gentilhommière s'élève sur la voie romaine conduisant de Poitiers à Bourges. Elle se compose essentiellement d'un grand corps de logis dont les façades donnent sur des cours fermées, cantonnées de communs sur la plupart de leurs côtés. Le bâtiment principal comprend trois niveaux : rez-de-chaussée, étage et combles. Du côté est, deux tours rondes forment les angles de la cour et contiennent, au rez-de-chaussée, une salle voûtée éclairée par des meurtrières ; à l'étage, un pigeonnier. Sur le mur nord sont placées les anciennes écuries. Au sud se trouve un puits. Sur la façade postérieure se trouve, du côté sud, une aile en retour de la même époque que le corps de logis. La partie qui le prolonge doit être une adjonction du 19e siècle. Les bâtiments qui ferment cette seconde cour sont d'anciens communs. L'intérieur, réaménagé au 18e siècle, conserve un escalier de pierre avec sa rampe en fer forgé, ainsi qu'une pièce lambrissée occupée par une cheminée Louis XVI.

History
The manor house rises on the Roman way leading from Poitiers to Bourges. It consists essentially of a large main dwelling whose façades face enclosed courtyards, flanked by outbuildings on most of their sides. The main building comprises three levels: ground floor, first floor and roof space. On the east side, two round towers form the corners of the courtyard and contain, on the ground floor, a vaulted room lit by loopholes; on the first floor, a dovecote. On the north wall are placed the old stables. To the south is a well. On the rear façade is found, on the south side, a wing forming a return of the same period as the main dwelling. The part extending it must be an addition of the 19th century. The buildings which close this second courtyard are old outbuildings. The interior, remodelled in the 18th century, preserves a stone staircase with its wrought ironwork railing, as well as a wainscoted room occupied by a Louis XVI fireplace.
