Historique
Un domaine de la Garde existait déjà au Moyen Age, lequel tirait sa richesse du vignoble. L'édifice actuel fut construit au 17e siècle, achevé après 1650. Le corps de logis est allongé et flanqué de deux tours carrées au sud, et de deux tourelles en surplomb aux angles de la façade nord sur cour. Les cinq lucarnes du comble ainsi que la porte d'entrée, sont datées de 1610. La façade sur cour concentre le décor sculpté (frontons à acrotères, pilastres cannelés...). A l'angle nord-ouest de la cour intérieure, une fuie circulaire à fronton a conservé tout son système de boulins et échelle tournante.

History
An estate of La Garde already existed in the Middle Ages, which drew its wealth from the vineyard. The current building was constructed in the 17th century, completed after 1650. The main dwelling is elongated and flanked by two square towers to the south, and two overhanging turrets at the angles of the north façade on the courtyard. The five dormers of the roof space as well as the entrance door are dated 1610. The façade on the courtyard concentrates the sculptured decoration (pediments with acroteria, fluted pilasters...). At the north-west angle of the inner courtyard, a circular dovecote with pediment has preserved its entire system of nesting holes and rotating ladder.
