Historique
Ancien logis seigneurial de Cheusses, l'édifice servit d'habitation aux premiers intendants puis, plus tard, abrita les officiers généraux les plus élevés en grade. L'ancien hôtel se compose d'une grande cour précédée d'une porte monumentale et au fond de laquelle est un corps de logis central flanqué de deux ailes encadrant la cour d'honneur. La porte d'entrée est flanquée de deux pilastres et d'un entablement doriques. Des guérites en pierre, situées de chaque côté, sont d'époque postérieure. La façade la plus intéressante regarde l'est. Au centre se trouve un avant-corps avec entablememnt surmonté d'un grand cartouche. L'intérieur conserve des cheminées sculptées sur bois.

History
Former seigneurial dwelling of Cheusses, the building served as a residence for the first intendants and later housed the highest-ranking general officers. The old hotel consists of a great courtyard preceded by a monumental gate and at the back of which is a central main dwelling flanked by two wings framing the courtyard of honour. The entrance door is flanked by two pilasters and a Doric entablature. Stone guard boxes, situated on each side, are of a later period. The most interesting façade faces east. At the centre is a projecting section with entablature surmounted by a large cartouche. The interior retains fireplaces sculpted in wood.
