Construction existant en 1760, donnée à bail à la ville par M. de Latouche-Tréville le 1er octobre 1768 pour y loger des militaires. De 1787 à 1939, la caserne abrita l'armée. Plan en U renversé, avec cour d'honneur close par un mur couronné par des balustres encadrant un portail surmonté de triglyphes, et mouluré. L'arc s'orne d'une tête d'ange. Chaînes d'angles à bossages. Le troisième étage de fenêtres est une sorte d'attique, étage bas sous comble. Les étages sont desservis par un escalier en bois orné d'une rampe en fer forgé du 18e siècle.

History
Construction existing in 1760, leased to the city by M. de Latouche-Tréville on 1 October 1768 to house military personnel there. From 1787 to 1939, the barracks sheltered the army. Plan in inverted U shape, with honour courtyard closed by a wall crowned with balusters framing a portal surmounted by triglyphs, and moulded. The arch is decorated with an angel head. Corner chains with bosses. The third storey of windows is a kind of attic, low storey under roof space. The storeys are served by a wooden staircase adorned with an 18th-century wrought iron handrail.
