Historique
Un château existait au 13e siècle. L'édifice actuel a dû être édifié au 16e siècle, terminé ou remanié au 17e siècle. Il domine la vallée à partir d'une terrasse à balustres. Un ensemble de communs s'aligne le long de la cour d'honneur, au nord. Le corps de logis principal est allongé, à un étage, et flanqué de cinq tourelles dont la plus ancienne est sans doute celle qui abrite l'escalier à vis, au centre de la façade sur cour au nord. Sur cette même façade ont été gardées les fenêtres autrefois à meneaux, témoins de la construction du 16e siècle. Au rez-de-chaussée, toutes les ouvertures du corps central ont été repercées en grandes fenêtres ou portes fenêtres plein cintre, à la Restauration. A cette même époque, le décor intérieur a été modifié. La chapelle se trouve sur la façade latérale est.

History
A castle existed in the 13th century. The current building must have been erected in the 16th century, completed or altered in the 17th century. It overlooks the valley from a terrace with balustrades. A set of outbuildings lines the honour courtyard to the north. The main body of lodging is elongated, of one storey, and flanked by five turrets, the oldest of which is doubtless the one which houses the spiral staircase, at the centre of the court façade to the north. On this same façade have been preserved the windows formerly with mullions, witnesses to the 16th-century construction. On the ground floor, all the openings of the central block have been reopened as large windows or French doors with round arch during the Restoration. At the same period, the interior decoration was modified. The chapel is found on the east lateral façade.
