Historique
Eglise de l'ancien diocèse de Saintes, citée dès le début du 12e siècle. Plan rectangulaire à une seule nef et abside semi-circulaire. La façade occidentale s'ouvre par un portail à trois voussures plein cintre reposant sur des pilastres. Deux portes aveugles accompagnent ce portail. Elles sont à trois voussures avec gorge, reposant sur des colonnettes rondes. L'étage au-dessus comprend quatre arcatures. L'abside est ornée d'arcatures et de colonnes rondes adossées à des pilastres. Côté nord se trouve le clocher qui a été reconstruit. Il est à peu près carré, terminé par une flèche en ardoises.

History
Church of the former diocese of Saintes, cited from the beginning of the 12th century. Rectangular plan with a single nave and semi-circular apse. The western façade opens by a portal with three round-arch voussures resting on pilasters. Two blind doors accompany this portal. They are with three voussures with gorge, resting on round small columns. The storey above comprises four arcatures. The apse is ornamented with arcatures and round columns attached to pilasters. On the north side is the bell tower which has been reconstructed. It is approximately square, terminated by a slate spire.
