Historique
Construite à la fin du 12e siècle, l'église dépendait de l'abbaye de Lesterps et du diocèse de Limoges. L'édifice est de plan rectangulaire et à chevet plat. Le choeur est légèrement plus étroit. Toute l'église est couverte par une voûte en berceau brisé, en pierre. Le chevet est éclairé par un triplet, en plein cintre. Le portail d'entrée est placé du côté sud. Il est à trois voussures. Le clocher carré, sur le transept, se termine par une haute flèche en charpente. Cette église reçut en 1699 des dons de Madame de Maintenon, dons composés d'ornements qui seraient l'oeuvre des demoiselles de Saint-Cyr.

History
Built at the end of the 12th century, the church was dependent on the abbey of Lesterps and the diocese of Limoges. The edifice is of rectangular plan and flat chevet. The choir is slightly narrower. The entire church is covered by a broken barrel vault, in stone. The chevet is lit by a triplet, in round arch. The entrance portal is placed on the south side. It has three voussures. The square bell tower, on the transept, terminates in a high wooden spire. This church received in 1699 gifts from Madame de Maintenon, gifts composed of ornaments which would be the work of the demoiselles of Saint-Cyr.
