L'appellation de cette maison, construite dans la première moitié du 17e siècle, vient du notable qui l'a faite construire et habitée. Cet hôtel a été totalement remanié à l'intérieur. La façade sur rue est restée intacte. L'élévation est à trois étages et le percement des baies très régulier. La toiture en façade présente en avant une partie oblique rejoignant la toiture proprement dite, faite de tuiles. L'ornementation est de style transition fin Henri IV, Louis XIII. L'encadrement des baies présente des chaînages de pierre très longs. Certaines d'entre elles n'en comportent pas, la décoration ayant sans doute été interrompue pour des raisons inconnues. Entre les chaînes longues, une chaîne plus petite est sculptée en surface. Au deuxième étage, la partie supérieure des baies est surmontée d'une sorte d'entablement plat, couronné par un pot à feu encadré de consoles à enroulement intérieur. Entre chaque entablement et au niveau de la corniche, une saillie du mur moulurée est supportée par quatre consoles et une gargouille. La porte d'entrée contraste avec le reste de la façade. Les chaînes alternativement sculptées de bossages, encadrent la porte proprement dite, ouverte en plein cintre. Ces chaînes ornent les deux colonnes supportant, par l'intermédiaire d'une frise sculptée de feuillages, un entablement très saillant. Ce dernier est orné, dans sa partie supérieure, de deux consoles larges et épaisses correspondant aux colonnes et de deux pots à feu très largement sculptés. Ces colonnes sont terminées, à leur base, par des têtes de lion.

History
The name of this house, constructed in the first half of the 17th century, comes from the notable who had it built and inhabited it. This building has been completely altered on the interior. The façade on the street remained intact. The elevation is of three storeys and the piercing of the openings very regular. The roof facing presents in front an oblique part joining the actual roof, made of tiles. The ornamentation is of late Henri IV, Louis XIII transition style. The framing of the openings presents very long stone chains. Some of them do not have any, the decoration having no doubt been interrupted for unknown reasons. Between the long chains, a smaller chain is carved in relief. On the second storey, the upper part of the openings is surmounted by a sort of flat entablature, crowned by an ornamental finial framed by consoles with internal scrolling. Between each entablature and at the level of the cornice, a moulded projection of the wall is supported by four consoles and a gargoyle. The entrance door contrasts with the rest of the façade. The chains alternately carved with rustication, frame the door proper, opened with a round arch. These chains ornament the two columns supporting, by means of a frieze carved with foliage, a very prominent entablature. The latter is decorated, in its upper part, with two wide and thick consoles corresponding to the columns and two very broadly carved ornamental finials. These columns are terminated, at their base, by lion heads.
