Historique
La clôture consiste en une balustrade posée sur un mur bahut. Elle supporte un appui mouluré. A chaque extrémité se trouve un socle qui reçoit une sphère en pierre. La porte est disposée au milieu de la balustrade. Tracée avec un arc plein cintre, elle donne l'impression d'avoir été exécutée à l'aide d'éléments superposés et réunis un peu au hasard. Les piédroits sont constitués par des blocs rectangulaires moulurés. Les tympans, au-dessus de l'extrados de l'archivolte, sont limités par d'autres panneaux. Les tympans ainsi que la frise de l'entablement qui couronne la porte, sont décorés de feuillage. Au-dessus se déroule un fronton en volute, ouvert pour montrer un écu dont les armoiries ont été buchées, surmonté d'un second fronton demi-circulaire qui contient une urne ornée d'une draperie. History
The closure consists of a balustrade placed on a parapet wall. It supports a moulded handrail. At each extremity there is a plinth that receives a sphere in stone. The door is disposed in the middle of the balustrade. Traced with a round arch, it gives the impression of having been executed using superimposed elements joined together somewhat at random. The jambs are constituted by moulded rectangular blocks. The tympana, above the extrados of the archivolt, are limited by other panels. The tympana as well as the frieze of the entablature that crowns the door, are decorated with foliage. Above unfolds a volute pediment, open to show a shield whose heraldry has been erased, surmounted by a second semi-circular pediment that contains an urn decorated with drapery. This ensemble of motifs is wedged by reversed consoles that rest on the balustrade. In front of this ensemble is found the curb of a well, covered by a small dome supported by three Doric columns.
