L'église appartenait à l'abbaye de Baignes. L'édifice, orienté, présente un plan en forme de croix, à une seule nef recouverte par un berceau en plâtre et briques. La croisée du transept est couverte d'une coupole sur trompes. Le choeur date du 15e siècle. Le mur sud est roman ; celui du nord a été reconstruit. Au croisillon sud, chapelle du 14e siècle à deux travées. Deux arcs plein cintre donnent accès au croisillon nord. Chapelle de deux travées du 16e siècle (voûtes détruites). Sur la façade occidentale, portail à trois voussures sur colonnes rondes à chapiteaux très frustes. Clocher carré.

History
The church belonged to the abbey of Baignes. The building, oriented, presents a cross-shaped plan, with a single nave covered by a barrel vault in plaster and brick. The crossing of the transept is covered by a dome on squinches. The choir dates from the 15th century. The south wall is Romanesque; that of the north was rebuilt. In the south arm, a chapel of the 14th century with two bays. Two round arches provide access to the north arm. Chapel of two bays of the 16th century (vaults destroyed). On the western façade, a gateway with three voussoirs on round columns with very worn capitals. Square bell tower.
