History

Romanesque church of the 12th century situated near the cemetery. The nave is vaulted with a very pointed barrel vault and flanked by two chapels forming a transept, but of a later period, vaulted with a barrel vault. A granite portal, with a moulded archivolt, with small columns with capitals, opens to the south. The door has retained some of its ironwork. The chevet is decorated with arcading. A bell tower with three arcatures rises above the gable of the west face. The chevet preserves wall paintings of the 13th century, arranged on two registers comprising the Last Supper above a band with geometric designs and a series of arcades framing figures that may represent the twelve months of the year. The fresco was executed in distemper, using red and black tones on a grey ground.
