Autrefois l'une des deux églises paroissiales de Saint-Guilhem. L'abside ressemble à une tour d'enceinte fortifiée. Elle servait de citadelle et contribuait, avec les remparts dont elle était proche, à défendre la localité. La nef unique est soutenue par de très puissants contreforts. Les arcs doubleaux de la voûte, disparue, étaient supportés par des consoles et étaient encorbellés. L'abside est extérieurement ornée d'arcatures imitant des mâchicoulis. History
Formerly one of the two parish churches of Saint-Guilhem. The apse resembles a fortified enclosure tower. It served as a citadel and contributed, with the ramparts to which it was close, to defending the locality. The single nave is supported by very powerful buttresses. The doubleaux arches of the vault, now gone, were supported by consoles and were corbelled. The apse is externally decorated with arcading imitating machicolations. Sixteen steps led to the interior of the edifice.
