Historique
Cette église est mentionnée en 1305 comme prieuré dépendant du chapitre cathédral de Saint-Nazaire de Béziers. La construction pourrait appartenir au style de transition de la fin du 12e siècle. Le côté nord présente, en partant de l'ouest, un portail postérieur à l'église, avec un pinacle surmonté d'une croix, un oeil de boeuf trilobé, au-dessus d'une porte ogivale entre colonnettes. History
This church is mentioned in 1305 as a priory dependent on the chapter of the cathedral of Saint-Nazaire de Béziers. The construction could belong to the transitional style of the end of the 12th century. The north side presents, starting from the west, a portal later than the church, with a pinnacle surmounted by a cross, a trilobed oculus, above an ogival door between small columns. This part appears later than the rest of the building. The bell tower, of square plan, is pierced by a series of windows with ogives fairly depressed, and is provided with gargoyles at the angles. A small brick spire surmounts it, in front of which is found, on the north side, a bell in a cage of wrought iron. A small stair turret follows the bell tower. Inside, the transept is well marked, forming two chapels. Choir with high twin windows and vault arcatures. The roof structure of the nave is exposed.
