The building becomes the property of the Rey family in 1602. The construction of the building dates from the end of the 17th century; that of the staircase and the portal to the 18th century. The façade on the courtyard of the grand staircase is the most important element of the construction. The three storeys each have three large rectangular bays, symmetrical, under a large triangular pediment forming a gable. At the base, these openings are limited by paired Tuscan columns. The architrave bears, at the height of the columns, a strong console. The frieze, limited inferiorly by two mouldings, is decorated only with diglyphs, at the vertical of the columns, the whole under an entablature with a drip mould. On the first storey, the tall windows are flanked by pilasters with Ionic capitals, connected to each other, at the piers, by clusters with volutes. The lintels of the windows are decorated with floral garlands. The pilasters of the second storey are crowned with Corinthian capitals. The large stairwell contains three flights per storey. The angles of the successive stringers are decorated with heads. The wrought-iron ramp is composed of a series of short panels, all identical, without vertical stem of separation. Each of the panels comprises a motif in the form of an urn, drawn by two opposed S volutes, resting on two half-volutes, with rounded central stem, beaded and adorned with two opposite leaves. The departure is constituted by stronger volutes, with numerous offsets and some sheet-metal foliage.
