Historique
L'hôtel fut reconstruit dans la seconde moitié du 18e siècle. Avant la Révolution, l'immeuble s'étendait jusqu'à la rue des Etuves, parallèle à la Grand'Rue. Le bâtiment de maître a été placé en façade sur la Grand'Rue et sur une cour intérieure, reliée à la rue par un passage voûté. Pour réaliser une cour carrée et pour que les murs de refends soient parallèles à la rue du Cygne, le passage d'entrée part de biais. Cette obliquité ne se voit qu'au départ de la voûte d'arête. Les quatre faces de la cour sont aussi identiques que possible. Chacune des façades repose sur deux arcs en anse de panier, séparés par un pilastre cannelé. Chaque étage est percé de deux fenêtres, celles du premier étage étant ornées de pilastres corinthiens. L'encadrement des arcs est mouluré, les écoinçons sculptés de feuillages qu s'enroulent autour d'une grande rosace à double corolle.

History
The building was reconstructed in the second half of the 18th century. Before the Revolution, the building extended as far as the rue des Etuves, parallel to the Grand'Rue. The main building was placed on the facade on the Grand'Rue and on an interior courtyard, connected to the street by a vaulted passage. To create a square courtyard and so that the rustication walls would be parallel to the rue du Cygne, the entrance passage runs diagonally. This obliquity is seen only at the start of the groin vault. The four sides of the courtyard are as identical as possible. Each of the facades rests on two basket-handle arches, separated by a fluted pilaster. Each floor is pierced by two windows, those of the first floor being decorated with Corinthian pilasters. The arch framing is moulded, the spandrels carved with foliage that winds around a large double-corolle rosette.
