Historique
Eglise rurale située à 2 kms environ au sud de la ville. Montels fut jusqu'à la Révolution une paroisse rurale dépendant du chapitre cathédral de Montpellier. L'église fut vendue comme bien national en 1795. Sa nef unique est couverte d'une voûte d'arêtes qui a vraisemblablement remplacé une voûte en plein cintre. Crypte sous la première travée de la nef.

History
Rural church situated approximately 2 kms to the south of the town. Montels was until the Revolution a rural parish depending on the cathedral chapter of Montpellier. The church was sold as national property in 1795. Its single nave is covered with a groin vault which has presumably replaced a barrel vault. Crypt under the first bay of the nave.
