Building of the first Languedoc Romanesque art. Bridge built at the beginning of the 11th century (1025-1031) by the monasteries of Aniane and Gellone. Bridge enlarged later: a bridge of the same profile was attached upstream to increase its width. Used until 1932, it is currently disused.
