Ce bas-relief fut donné, vers 1503, par le pape Jules II et était placé sur la tour Saint-Michel. Il est encastré dans l'allège d'une fenêtre du premier étage. Il représente saint Georges à cheval, terrassant le dragon. Dans l'angle supérieur gauche étaient placées les armes pontificales, surmontées d'une tiare.

History
This bas-relief was given, around 1503, by Pope Julius II and was placed on the tower of Saint-Michel. It is set into the sill of a first-floor window. It depicts Saint George on horseback, slaying the dragon. In the upper left angle were placed the papal arms, surmounted by a tiara.
