Historique
Le couvent des Minimes fut fondé à l'intérieur de la ville à la demande présentée par les habitants en 1602. Leur habitation leur fut donnée par Gilles Magnis et sa femme. Les Minimes achetèrent les maisons voisines pour agrandir le couvent. L'église fut construite en 1608. Elle renfermait les sépultures des princes de Lorraine d'Harcourt, des Porcellets, des Ornano, des Chanciergues, des Piolenc et des Savette. L'église est rendue au culte en 1826 et sert de chapelle de secours. Elle se compose d'une nef avec chapelles latérales. L'abside est polygonale, voûtée sur croisées d'ogives. Quatre chapelles sont voûtées de même. La première chapelle de gauche est voûtée en coupole sur pendentif. Dans la nef, les deux premières travées de voûte ont disparu ; la troisième est voûtée d'arête. Sur le côté droit de l'édifice, dans une cour, se trouvent quatre arcs surbaissés, restes de l'ancien cloître.

History
The convent of the Minimes was founded within the town at the request presented by the inhabitants in 1602. Their residence was given to them by Gilles Magnis and his wife. The Minimes purchased the neighbouring houses to enlarge the convent. The church was built in 1608. It contained the burials of the princes of Lorraine d'Harcourt, the Porcellets, the Ornano, the Chanciergues, the Piolenc and the Savette. The church was returned to worship in 1826 and serves as a chapel of refuge. It consists of a nave with side chapels. The apse is polygonal, vaulted with rib vaults. Four chapels are vaulted likewise. The first chapel on the left is vaulted in a dome on pendentives. In the nave, the first two bays of vault have disappeared; the third is vaulted with a groin vault. On the right side of the building, in a courtyard, are four flat arches, remains of the former cloister.
