Ce quartier était autrefois habité par les teinturiers qui disposaient, pour leur industrie, des eaux du canal de l'Agau. En 1770, la rue fut soumise à un plan d'élargissement. Le propriétaire de la maison est connu à partir de 1671. Le balcon du premier étage se compose d'une partie droite et de deux retours arrondis. La partie droite comporte le grand panneau central, avec médaillon axial, circulaire, au monogramme CA, surmontant la date 1771. Le remplage est constitué par des C et des volutes à rebroussement. Les petits pilastres latéraux comportent le dessin habituel d'une urne, relevé par un motif de feuillages bourgeonnant, prolongé par une tige ondulée. Les panneaux courbes, latéraux, se composent de volutes en C, infléchies, sans symétrie. Les mêmes dispositions se répètent intégralement au balcon du deuxième étage. Les dallages des balcons sont supportés chacun par trois consoles de fer forgé.

History
This quarter was formerly inhabited by dyers who had, for their industry, the use of the waters of the Agau canal. In 1770, the street was submitted to a plan for enlargement. The owner of the house is known from 1671. The balcony of the first storey comprises a straight section and two rounded returns. The straight section comprises the large central panel, with an axial medallion, circular, with the monogram CA, surmounting the date 1771. The infill consists of C's and volutes with sharp turns. The small lateral pilasters comprise the usual design of an urn, relieved by a motif of budding foliage, extended by an undulating stem. The curved lateral panels consist of C volutes, inflected, without symmetry. The same arrangements are repeated entirely on the balcony of the second storey. The paving of the balconies is each supported by three consoles of wrought iron.
