Demeure édifiée au 16e siècle, acquise en 1924 par le docteur Henri Bousquet. Paralysé à la suite de blessures subies à la bataille de Vailly en 1918, son fils, l'écrivain Joë Bousquet, passe le reste de sa vie alité, occupant une chambre dans cet immeuble jusqu'à son décès en 1950. A l'exception des nombreux tableaux modernes et surréalistes, légués à ses amis, la chambre reste dans l'état où Bousquet l'avait laissée. A l'occasion des travaux de remise en état, en vue de créer la "Maison des Mémoires", des plafonds peints ont été mis a jour, datés par dendrochronologie de 1570 et 1642, témoins des décors civils des 16e et 17e siècles.

History
Dwelling erected in the 16th century, acquired in 1924 by doctor Henri Bousquet. Paralysed as a result of injuries sustained at the Battle of Vailly in 1918, his son, writer Joë Bousquet, spent the rest of his life bedridden, occupying a room in this building until his death in 1950. With the exception of the numerous modern and surrealist paintings, bequeathed to his friends, the room remains in the state Bousquet had left it. On the occasion of restoration work, with a view to creating the "House of Memories", painted ceilings were revealed, dated by dendrochronology to 1570 and 1642, testimony to the civil decoration of the 16th and 17th centuries.
