Fontaine achevée en 1770, oeuvre de Barata père et fils, sculpteurs italiens. Elle s'élève au milieu d'un bassin en marbre incarnat. La base principale forme un socle carré orné d'inscriptions sur les faces et d'enroulements aux angles. Au-dessus de ce socle se trouvent deux tritons et deux naïades qui semblent commander à des dauphins dont les naseaux laissent échapper des jets d'eau nombreux. Ces personnages mythologiques sont surmontés d'une vasque ornée de mascarons et de guirlandes, au milieu de laquelle se dresse une statue de Neptune placée sur un piédouche d'où sort une source abondante qui se distribue en cascades autour du monument.

History
Fountain completed in 1770, work of Barata father and son, Italian sculptors. It rises in the middle of a basin in incarnate marble. The main base forms a square plinth decorated with inscriptions on the faces and scrolls at the angles. Above this plinth are found two tritons and two naiads who seem to command dolphins whose nostrils allow numerous water jets to escape. These mythological figures are surmounted by a basin decorated with mascarons and garlands, in the middle of which stands a statue of Neptune placed on a small pedestal from which springs an abundant source that is distributed in cascades around the monument.
