History
The building belonged for a century and a half to the Cazalets, a dynasty of archdeacons. Its construction dates to 1635, enlarged a few years later by the annexation of the neighbouring house. The building consists of two blocks arranged at right angles around an enclosed courtyard. The principal storey of the first block was restructured in the 19th century by the division of the large rooms, one of which still displays a plaster decoration.
