La maison ornée de cet écusson est moderne. Celle qui occupait cet emplacement au 18e siècle paraît être sans rapport avec ce blason. Les armoiries sont sculptées dans un cartouche ovale. Il pourrait s'agir du blason de Joseph Pons de Guimera (17e siècle), baron de Montclar, lieutenant général des armées du Roi, mestre de camp général de la cavalerie légère, grand bailli de Haguenau, commandant en Alsace.

History
The house decorated with this escutcheon is modern. The one which occupied this location in the 18th century appears to be unrelated to this coat of arms. The armorial bearings are sculptured in an oval cartouche. The enamels are represented by hatching. Below the cartouche, a scallop shell, framed by two vertical cords on each side. The arms represented on the escutcheon are not known in the region: quarterly, 1st or with a bridge of three arches sable, 2nd argent with two fesses azure, 3rd azure with a dexter arm issuing from a cloud, holding a naked sword argent, with a label of three points the same; 4th (?) with a crowned and tongued lion gules. This could be the coat of arms of Joseph Pons de Guimera (17th century), baron of Montclar, lieutenant general of the King's armies, master of camp general of the light cavalry, great bailli of Haguenau, commander in Alsace.
