D'après la tradition, le roi Charles VIII aurait couché au château de Malves en 1493. L'édifice est rectangulaire, bâti sur un large plateau, avec tourelles rondes aux quatre angles et une tourelle supplémentaire sur la face nord-ouest. La tourelle d'angle Est part en encorbellement. Baies, portes et fenêtres ont toutes été remaniées. Grande cour avec bassin devant la façade nord-est où se trouve l'entrée principale. Grand jardin au sud-est. Les communs sont reportés au nord-est, au-delà de la cour, et entourent une seconde cour. L'entrée principale est au centre (façade nord-est). According to tradition, King Charles VIII is said to have slept at the château of Malves in 1493.
