History
These pattée crosses, of a very particular squat form, have been observed only in a very limited region, between Malviès to the north and Magrie to the south. This district, long occupied by the Huguenot faction, appears to have been relatively favourable to the Reformed, in the heart of a Catholic and Leaguer diocese. It is therefore possible that the design adopted for these crosses with equal branches was intended to recall that of Huguenot crosses. None of these crosses bears a date or inscription.
