Croix inscrite dans un carré à diagonale verticale. Les extrémités sont taillées suivant le profil d'un boudin à avant-bec méplat, renforcé à sa base par deux boudins latéraux plus petits. Les évidements entre les bras sont formés par de larges gorges. Un chanfrein dégage ces gorges sur chacune des faces de la croix et se continue le long du pied, qui est également de plan octogonal. La croisée des bras est évidée en carré curviligne par quatre arcs de cercle concentriques à ceux des gorges ci-dessus. A la croisée des bras, sur une face, est sculptée en réserve une main bénissant. De l'autre côté, la croisée est occupée par un écu suspendu. Le parti de dextre est celui des Gogenx, l'un abbé de Lagrasse au 13e siècle, l'autre évêque d'Alet au 14e siècle. Le village avait pour seigneur l'abbé de Lagrasse et la cure était à la présentation de l'évêque d'Alet. Il serait donc vraisemblable que ces armoiries se rapportent à un proche parent de l'un de ces prélats.

History
Cross inscribed in a square with vertical diagonal. The ends are cut following the profile of a moulding with a bevelled sharp edge, reinforced at its base by two smaller lateral mouldings. The recesses between the arms are formed by large hollows. A chamfer disengages these hollows on each face of the cross and continues along the foot, which is also of octagonal plan. The crossing of the arms is recessed in a curvilinear square by four arcs of circles concentric with those of the hollows above. At the crossing of the arms, on one face, is sculpted in relief a blessing hand. On the other side, the crossing is occupied by a suspended shield. The dexter side is that of the Gogenx, one abbot of Lagrasse in the 13th century, the other bishop of Alet in the 14th century. The village had as its lord the abbot of Lagrasse and the cure was presented by the bishop of Alet. It would therefore be plausible that these armorial bearings relate to a close relative of one of these prelates.
