En 1879, le conseil municipal décide la construction dune usine communale sur le site dun moulin incendié. Elle est louée de 1883 à 1985 pour une double activité de scierie-menuiserie (jusqu'en 1985) et de meunerie (jusqu'en 1960). Equipée de turbines (encore en place) , lusine consiste en un vaste bâtiment constitué de quatre corps : atelier de travail du bois, atelier du moulin à farine, habitation et écuries-remises. Désaffecté mais ayant conservé ses équipements (châssis de scie verticale et banc de scie circulaire pour la scierie, trieuse, bluterie, meules pour le moulin) , cet établissement hydraulique constitue un intéressant exemple dusine communale.

History
In 1879, the municipal council decided on the construction of a municipal factory on the site of a mill destroyed by fire. It was leased from 1883 to 1985 for a dual activity of sawmill-carpentry (until 1985) and milling (until 1960). Equipped with turbines (still in place), the factory consists of a vast building made up of four sections: wood-working workshop, flour-mill workshop, dwelling and stables-storage. Disused but having retained its equipment (vertical saw frame and circular saw bench for the sawmill, sorter, bolter, millstones for the mill), this hydraulic establishment constitutes an interesting example of a municipal factory.
