Historique
Eglise construite au 12e siècle sur l'emplacement d'une chapelle du 10e ou 11e siècle dans laquelle avaient été déposées les reliques de saint Laon. Le clocher et le pignon sud sont les seules parties de l'édifice qui ont subsisté dans leur intégrité. Le reste de l'église a été sensiblement remanié au 15e siècle. Le choeur, probablement demi-circulaire, a été remplacé par une travée avec chevet droit. Une autre travée semble avoir été ajoutée avec une nouvelle façade à l'ouest, en même temps qu'une chapelle latérale au nord. Sauf au sanctuaire qui a conservé son berceau, les voûtes primitives ont été remplacées par des voûtes d'arêtes. Au cours du 19e siècle ont été bâties deux travées latérales au sud. History
Church built in the 12th century on the site of a chapel of the 10th or 11th century in which the relics of saint Laon had been placed. The bell tower and southern gable are the only parts of the building that have survived intact. The rest of the church was substantially remodelled in the 15th century. The choir, probably semicircular, was replaced by a bay with a straight chevet. Another bay appears to have been added with a new west-facing façade, at the same time as a lateral chapel to the north. Except in the sanctuary which retained its barrel vault, the original vaults were replaced by rib vaults. During the 19th century two lateral bays were built to the south. The square chevet ended with a large window before being masked by a 17th-century retable. Sculptured capitals and corbels.
