Historique
Eglise typiquement romane, qui subit des dommages au cours des guerres de Religion et durant la Révolution. Restaurée après chaque atteinte, elle ne fut que peu altérée dans son style gothique. A l'origine, l'édifice était entièrement voûté mais la voûte de la nef s'est effondrée au 19e siècle. Le plan se compose d'une nef rectangulaire, une abside semi-circulaire, un choeur qui sépare les deux premiers espaces et que surmonte le clocher à base carrée, une tour hexagonale permettant d'accéder à ce clocher. L'ensemble fait penser à une église fortifiée de par la présence de trois meurtrières percées dans la tour. L'abside romane, voûtée en cul de four brisé, s'ouvre sur une travée de choeur en berceau brisé.

History
Typically Romanesque church, which suffered damage during the Wars of Religion and the Revolution. Restored after each attack, it was only slightly altered in its gothic style. Originally, the building was entirely vaulted but the vault of the nave collapsed in the 19th century. The plan consists of a rectangular nave, a semi-circular apse, a choir which separates the first two spaces and which is surmounted by the bell tower with a square base, a hexagonal tower allowing access to this bell tower. The whole suggests a fortified church because of the presence of three arrow slits pierced in the tower. The Romanesque apse, vaulted with a pointed cul-de-four, opens onto a bay of choir in a pointed barrel vault.
