Historique
L'église est construite au début du 16e siècle sur une parcelle peut-être héritée de l'époque romaine. Il reste de la construction d'origine la moitié sud de l'édifice, la nef de la fin du 15e ou du début du 16e siècle sur laquelle sont venus se greffer le clocher (1535-1540) puis le portail (terminé en 1553). Les documents iconographiques du début du 19e siècle font état d'un choeur à pans coupés flanqué d'un bas-côté. Devenus trop exigus, la partie Est de la nef et le choeur sont reconstruits dans le style néo-gothique par l'architecte Georges Simon en 1873-1874. Le chevet est flanqué de deux sacristies en 1888 (architecte Marical) et 1903 (architecte Lucien Lefort).

History
The church is built at the beginning of the 16th century on a plot perhaps inherited from the Roman period. Of the original construction there remains the southern half of the building, the nave of the late 15th or beginning of the 16th century to which were added the bell tower (1535-1540) and then the portal (completed in 1553). Iconographic documents from the beginning of the 19th century attest to a chevet with cut angles flanked by an aisle. Having become too cramped, the eastern part of the nave and the chevet are rebuilt in the neo-Gothic style by the architect Georges Simon in 1873-1874. The chevet is flanked by two sacristies in 1888 (architect Marical) and 1903 (architect Lucien Lefort).
