Historique
Le château de plan rectangulaire est précédé de deux vastes cours flanquées, au nord, par le bâtiment des communs. Les deux cours sont séparées par un muret ouvert d'un portail à grille. Dans la première cour, deux petits bâtiments sont élevés à gauche des communs. Dans la deuxième cour, un pavillon carré abritait une chapelle. Cet ensemble de bâtiments est entouré d'un mur d'enceinte dont il subsiste trois tours d'angle et une tour ronde hors oeuvre. Les façades sont flanquées de tourelles en encorbellement, coiffées de charpente à la "Philibert Delorme". La travée centrale de la façade principale se distingue par sa porte à fronton. Toutes les travées sont surmontées de lucarnes dont les allèges sont pourvus de faux mâchicoulis. A l'intérieur, l'édifice a conservé ses solivages d'origine.

History
The castle of rectangular plan is preceded by two vast courtyards flanked, to the north, by the building of outhouses. The two courtyards are separated by a low wall opening onto a portal with a grille. In the first courtyard, two small buildings are raised to the left of the outhouses. In the second courtyard, a square pavilion housed a chapel. This set of buildings is surrounded by an enclosure wall of which three corner towers and one round tower projecting beyond it remain. The façades are flanked by corbelled turrets, topped with roof structure in the "Philibert Delorme" style. The central bay of the main façade is distinguished by its door with a pediment. All the bays are surmounted by dormers whose sills are furnished with false machicolations. Inside, the building has retained its original floor joists.
