Historique
L'évêque de Limoges y faisait les nominations de curés, droit qui passa à l'abbesse de la Règle autour de 1569. L'église romane, dont il subsiste des éléments au chevet et à la façade, a été en partie reconstruite en 1496 et restaurée en 1962. Le plan, rare en Limousin, se compose de deux nefs parallèles à deux travées sur plan carré, voûtées d'ogives. La nef nord est terminée par un sanctuaire voûté d'arêtes et comporte une chapelle attenante à la deuxième travée. La façade occidentale remonte à l'époque romane. Le pignon du clocher peigne est souligné par un bandeau de pierre délimitant un fronton sommé d'une croix antéfixe. La nef date du 15e siècle. L'église, en grande partie du 15e siècle, a conservé de l'époque romane sa façade occidentale, typique du Limousin, et son sanctuaire voûté d'arêtes.

History
The bishop of Limoges made the appointments of curates there, a right that passed to the abbess of the Règle around 1569. The Romanesque church, of which elements remain at the chevet and façade, was partly rebuilt in 1496 and restored in 1962. The plan, rare in Limousin, consists of two parallel naves with two bays on a square plan, vaulted with ribs. The north nave is terminated by a sanctuary vaulted with groins and comprises a chapel attached to the second bay. The western façade dates back to the Romanesque period. The gable of the porch tower is underlined by a band of stone delimiting a pediment topped by an antéfixa cross. The nave dates from the 15th century. The church, largely of the 15th century, has preserved from the Romanesque period its western façade, typical of Limousin, and its sanctuary vaulted with groins.
