The château was erected during the second half of the 18th century by architect Broussaud. On the side of the road, the château is preceded by a vast rectangular courtyard flanked on each side by outbuildings whose ends, located on the château side, form two small curved returns. Between the outbuildings and the main dwelling are built two small square pavilions connected to the château by low walls, erected in the axis of the façade. The right pavilion houses a chapel. The centre of the courtyard is occupied by a basin. The decoration of the courtyard façade resides mainly in the central bay. The balcony of the second level is adorned with a wrought iron grille dating from the construction. The capitals of the opening are moulded, as are the cornice and pediment. The garden façade presents an arrangement which seeks to accentuate the balance and harmony of this façade. The central avant-corps is surmounted by a pediment. Elements come to break the uniformity (windows of the first level of the central bay descending lower than the others; depressed round arch of the door...). All windows of the second level are adorned with wrought iron balconies. The pediment is pierced by an oculus surrounded by a Rocaille style motif. Inside, the rooms are adorned with wood panelling. The former kitchen, converted into a library, preserves a fireplace which must be a reuse from the 16th century. The small chapel ends in a polygonal apse. On either side of the outbuildings vegetable gardens have been laid out.
