History
Founded near the château, the church had the cure of this château as a subsidiary. The Romanesque church has survived intact in certain of its parts which appear to date back to the 11th century. It is a building with a single nave of rectangular plan with cut sides to the apse, giving a pentagonal sanctuary. Two recent lateral chapels are set against the north and south walls. The nave is vaulted with a low ceiling in wattle and daub. The abacuses of the capitals of the nave are moulded with a triple quarter-round, a motif frequent in the 11th century. At the western extremity of the nave rises an octagonal bell tower.
