Historique
Le patronage de cette église appartenait à l'abbaye du Moutier d'Ahun. L'édifice est formé d'une nef de trois travées voûtées d'ogives avec formerets, dont la dernière forme le choeur à chevet plat. Chapiteaux sculptés. La première travée comporte, dans sa partie ouest, une tribune établie à la fin du 15e ou au 16e siècle. A la suite d'un affaissement de la clef dû à la grande portée des ogives, une poutre transversale a été établie. Un portail en tracé brisé à plusieurs voussures s'ouvre sur la façade occidentale, abrité sous un auvent prenant appui sur des contreforts. L'arc surmonté d'un cordon d'archivolte formant larmier, est mouluré de boudins qui étaient reçus sur des colonnettes disparues, garnissant les piedroits, par l'intermédiaire d'une frise chapiteau sur la partie droite de laquelle sont sculptées des têtes. L'église a été surélevée et fortifiée au 14e siècle.

History
The patronage of this church belonged to the abbey of Moutier d'Ahun. The edifice is formed of a nave of three bays vaulted with ribs with wall ribs, of which the last forms the choir with flat chevet. Sculpted capitals. The first bay comprises, in its western part, a tribune established at the end of the 15th or in the 16th century. As a result of a subsidence of the keystone due to the great span of the ribs, a transverse beam was established. A portal of pointed-arch profile with several voussures opens on the western façade, sheltered under an awning resting on buttresses. The arch surmounted by an archivolt cordon forming larmier, is moulded with bowtell mouldings which were received on disappeared columnettes, garnishing the jambs, by means of a frieze capital on the right part of which are sculpted heads. The church was raised and fortified in the 14th century.
