Historique
L'église relevait de l'abbaye de Déols. L'édifice est formé d'une nef unique à chevet droit, flanquée d'une chapelle au sud. La première moitié du vaisseau est voûtée d'un berceau en plein cintre. A la suite, deux travées un peu plus larges portent une voûte d'ogives du 14e siècle qui a remplacé une voûte antérieure. Une chapelle latérale a été ajoutée au 16e siècle, au sud de la travée précédant le choeur. Une fenêtre à deux formes et réseau flamboyant l'éclaire au sud. Une niche tréflée est creusée dans le mur sud. History
The church was subject to the abbey of Déols. The building is formed of a single nave with straight chevet, flanked by a chapel to the south. The first half of the vessel is vaulted with a barrel vault in round arch. Following this, two bays somewhat wider carry a rib vault of the 14th century which replaced an earlier vault. A lateral chapel was added in the 16th century, to the south of the bay preceding the choir. A window with two forms and flamboyant tracery lights it to the south. A trefoil niche is carved in the south wall. The vaults of the nave and choir are entirely covered with paintings of the 17th or 18th century (coffered ceilings; frieze of interlocking foliage; heads of cherubs emerging from clouds; Evangelists). On the exterior, an antefix cross surmounts the west gable and that of the chevet. The timber storey of the bell tower surmounts the bay of the nave preceding the choir.
