Historique
Le patronage de cette église appartenait à l'abbaye du Moutier d'Ahun. Hormis la façade ouest qui a été reconstruite, le reste de l'édifice date du 14e siècle. Il est constitué d'une nef unique de trois travées dont la dernière constitue le choeur à chevet plat. A la suite de l'écroulement des voûtes d'ogives primitives, ces dernières ont été remplacées par des voûtes en bois en forme d'ogives, à liernes. Les retombées des voûtes de pierre subsistent. Chapiteaux aux corbeilles sculptées. L'accès au clocher en charpente, élevé à l'extrémité ouest, se fait par un escalier contenu dans le contrefort nord. Une ouverture rectangulaire chanfreinée, pratiquée au chevet dans la partie haute, indique que cette église avait dû être fortifiée par un chemin de ronde.

History
The patronage of this church belonged to the abbey of Moutier d'Ahun. Apart from the west façade which has been rebuilt, the rest of the building dates from the 14th century. It consists of a single nave of three bays, the last of which constitutes the choir with a flat chevet. Following the collapse of the primitive rib vaults, these were replaced by wooden vaults in the form of ogives, with liernes. The springing of the stone vaults remain. Capitals with sculpted baskets. Access to the timber bell tower, erected at the west end, is by a staircase contained in the north buttress. A rectangular chamfered opening, made in the chevet in the upper part, indicates that this church must have been fortified by a wall-walk.
