A l'origine, la chapelle était le centre paroissial d'un bourg hors mur. Elle a été incluse dans l'enceinte de 1370. La première église fut bâtie sur le tombeau de Saint-Libéral. Desservie par les Dominicains au 16e et 17e siècle, elle fut vendue comme bien national en 1791. Elle sert aujourd'hui de chapelle de secours, et de lieu de réunion musicale. La chapelle se compose d'une nef unique, d'une abside précédée d'un choeur. Deux chapelles latérales s'ouvrent au nord et au sud. L'ensemble est voûté d'ogives.

History
Originally, the chapel was the parochial centre of a town outside the walls. It was included within the enclosure of 1370. The first church was built on the tomb of Saint-Libéral. Served by the Dominicans in the 16th and 17th centuries, it was sold as national property in 1791. It today serves as a relief chapel and a place of musical gathering. The chapel consists of a single nave, of an apse preceded by a choir. Two side chapels open to the north and south. The whole is vaulted with ribs.
