C'est à la fin du 16e siècle ou au début du siècle suivant qu'a été construit ce moulin à vent en moellons calcaire sur fort soubassement de pierre de taille, chaînage vertical et bandeau saillant. Il a servi de tour de télégraphe au 19e siècle avant de tomber en ruines. Il a été protégé à l'occasion d'une thématique sur les moulins à vent. En 1983, il s'est écroulé partiellement, puis a été restauré par des bénévoles en 1984. Malgré une lettre de mise en demeure de l'Architecte des Bâtiments de France, la partie supérieure a reçu en 1989 un hourdis de béton à corbeaux saillants.

History
It was at the end of the 16th century or at the beginning of the following century that this windmill was built in limestone rubble stone on a strong foundation of dressed stone, with vertical bonding and projecting string course. It served as a telegraph tower in the 19th century before falling into ruin. It was protected on the occasion of a thematic approach to windmills. In 1983, it partially collapsed, and was then restored by volunteers in 1984. Despite a notice from the Architect of the Buildings of France, the upper part received in 1989 a concrete topping with projecting corbels.
